What are some signs of intelligence?

1.You appear a little lazy.

Smart people like to think more and spend more time with their brains, so to others they appear lazy, but are actually working with high efficiency. They are more willing to do meaningful things than people who don't want to think.

2. You will often have unexpected ideas.

A prominent performance of smart people is that they have more innovative ideas, more free thinking, prone to sudden fantasy, do not like to bind themselves to fixed ideas. A study by the London School of Economics and Politics found that young people who thought they were very conservative had lower IQs than those who thought they were free to think.

3. You are likely to believe others.

We think it's silly to believe others, but the Oxford University study found that smart people are more likely to believe others. This is mainly because smart people are better at studying other people's motives, noticing other people's body language, dialect and even subtle facial convulsions to judge other people's personality traits. It can be said that trusting others is a kind of self-confidence.

4.You are a night owl.

A new study by the London School of Economics suggests that sleep deprivation is a natural trend among the intellectual elite. This is no exception. They sleep much less every night than the average person. Presumably, it may be that their hyperactive brains find that a small amount of sleep is more likely to succeed, or that the quiet environment at night is more suitable for their pursuit of self.

5. May be prone to mental illness.

High IQ is a double-edged sword, the price is that the possibility of suffering from emotional and mental disorders is higher than normal. Psychologists have found that the relationship between intelligence and mental health may be related to evolution. The increase of human intelligence quotient originates from gene mutation, and the price of these gene mutations is the increase of mental illness.

6. You are lonely.

Loneliness is the fertile land of glory. Smart people prefer to live, study and work alone. The more people with high IQ interact with others, the lower their life satisfaction. Their independent life often makes them feel more comfortable and happy.

7.You have many hobbies.

The genius of history—most of these people engaged in seemingly trivial and unintentional things for their own enjoyment. This may have something to do with the brain's need to focus on non-profit pursuits from time to time, so that it can quickly recover from the intense work. But there is no doubt that these similarities are reflected in most of the "great men" in history. Einstein loved sailing, and Hawking liked climbing, rowing and even writing children's books.

8. You are sometimes thought weird by others.

15.Their communication skills are so powerful – when they speak people will listen, when they write people will read. The secret of their powerful communication is, they’re able to present their own perspective accurately (logical) rather than to argue aggressively.

16.Last but not the least, they like to get engaged in intellectual & meaningful conversations . They will never feel alone even in the empty room when they’re with their tribe.
