Necessary Human Evolution !!!!!!!
Smell is primitive sense perception which need -well developed olfactory lobes ,which is well developed in lower animals , but with well developed Olfactory lobe ,animals also need to have well developed - olfactory receptors in nostrils and olfactory lobes
Now when Olfactory lobes are well developed then - olfactory lobes being part of primitive brain structure (archipallium or Reptile brain )controls amygdala and hence control all emotional responses from —sex to aggression
Bu in case of man ,as Neo-cortext (Neo cerebrum )or new type of Brain structure has developed which has allowed human beings to suppress amygdala and hence primitive brain functioning , by being more aware for once’s surrounding ,human being dont need to keep reliance on only smell, as ,other senses of human being -as like eyes (Stereoscopic vision ) has get more developed and Neo Cortex of man by suppressing - one;s primitive urges as like—sex,aggression rage ,could civilized oneself
Hence -smell power has been turned into— less important faculty or sense for Human being due to evolution process ,where Human Being need more control on -primitive urges as like sex ,aggression ,rage to exist as Civilized society ,,,
Otherwise just imagine,if Man is not able to control one’s primitive urges, then how he is suppose to be a different behaving species ,than Gorrilla or Chimps—who used fight to death -for seasonal mating issue of Females of their groups and used to kill— baby chimps and Gorillas who belongs to different male
